Skyhook Wireless’ mobile phone app “Trapster”, uses geopositioning to warn you of speed-traps, road-hazards, and help you track road-trips.  In addition to pointing out police, the recently released Trapster 4.0 adds a few new road hazards to the reporting list. These include helpful alerts ranging from scenarios like road closures or construction zones to notifications of things like brush fires and roadkill.  It is available for free download on the iPhone App Store, Blackberry App World, Palm software store, Android market, or at there site: Trapster.com
