  • I lived in Rochester, MN, for 27 years before moving to Bellingham in 2004. I had been active in the BMW Car Club of America for 15 years and wanted to make connections with fellow club members in Bellingham. I learned that Ron Ager was a member and contacted him by phone and email before the move, so he’s the first person I knew in town. I had a ’99 BMW M Coupe at the time and discovered Ron had a shop that he worked at part time at his rural home. He specialized in BMW’s, so I began taking the Coupe to him for service. A coupe of years after my move, Ron asked me, among others, for some counsel about opening his own shop and going full time into the auto repair, modification and service business. I’m delighted he made that decision, as in the ensuing years he and his technicians have serviced and repaired not only the M Coupe, but also a ’95 BMW 318ti, and now our current fleet composed of a ’00 BMW 528i Sport Wagon, a ’00 BMW 528i sedan, and a ’95 Land Rover Discovery. The service files on my cars occupy a good portion of a file drawer, so I feel qualified to heartily endorse the quality, depth of knowledge and skill, integrity and overall value of services provided at Northwest European Autoworks. Ron and his technicians and service writers have been great to work with, as well as being a fun bunch of guys. If you need service on your European cars and are in the Bellingham area, this is the place to go!

  • I have experienced various mechanic shops over the years, I have been a customer of Northwest European for the past 5 or 6 years and they have always gone above and beyond my expectations, so refreshing to drive away feeling good about paying for car repair. I feel they are looking out for my best interest and are very professional. Would recommend them to anyone…
